Aprons for me...

I found some REALLY cute 'pin up' girl fabric and decided I had to make an apron (or 2) for myself! I never make myself anything so I decided to go ahead and splurge!

Here is the one I made for Halloween using the Loreli pattern from A is for Apron.

I cut it down a bit to fit me better.......isn't it CUTE! The ties match the shoulder.

And this one is for the cowgirl that still lurks inside me :-)

I just love clothespin aprons! I made this one using an apron I had received as a gift in a swap.

I used bandana fabric for the lining and ginham for the reverse side.

I would fall head overheals if some sweet someone would send me one of those very lovely handmade Cowgirl aprons. It would be just what this sad little Auntie could use to cheer her up :), after having a month like I have had!!!
All kidding aside I really like this apron it is the bomb :)You did a great job of making these. I love your fabric combinations and the choices of pattern styles that you used. Pat pat pat on the back, great aprons my friend.

Swaps are lots of fun but one of the things I find about doing so many swaps is that I don't make anything for myself. It's great that you took the time to make aprons for yourself. They turned out great!

The CUTEST! I am still in love with that pin up Halloween fabric. I'd never get it done in time, but I think I'm going to have to get some and put it up for next year!

And the cowgirl one is adorable too!
