I love how our yard turns into a garden each Spring......we have such a long growing season, it is one thing I LOVE about being back on the Gulf Coast.
Here are just a few things that look so different with a little 'green' around them!
Fairy House:
even with the fog...looks so much happier!
Bat house turned into bird house:
apparently the squirrels moved in...they even chewed off the little perch!
Ladybug House:
and yes.....we have lots of ladybugs!

It is so wonderful to find someone who believes in Elementals! You need a Gnome. One of these days I will be your swap partner and when that day happens I will make you a woodland critter apron. lol
Oh, those naughty (nutty) squirrels ;-) I love ladybugs. They look so pretty and are such good little helpers in the garden. They eat all the aphids.
What a lovely corner of the world you have there ;-)
look at the lovely litte houses.....it must be a long season because I remember you showing flowers when we still were in the middle of winter...Now I am really inspired to get that fairy house done!!! Melinda
I love the fairy house. I think we need to make one for Nature Girl's garden. We need a little gnome for it too. Her garden needs some work now that spring is here!
I envy your long growing season but probably wouldn't trade it cause we do get a little snow now and then!
The fact that your own home is surrounded by houses you've created for others says such good things about you! That's one of the reasons I started gardening so much...my neighbors have all commented on how many more critters we have had the past couple of years. Your mini community is a great inspiration!
Wow - I can't believe you have that many ladybugs in their own little house! How cute, never seen one of these before! Wonder how the ladybugs know it's their domain and not other bugs? x
I love lady bugs...my youngest was trying to tell me about one on a flower and he kept saying a "girlybug"!! ;-)
Your mossy house reminded me that rainy season is soon upon us and i need to get my shoe boxes in the entranceway ready and our shower bleached down...i seriously have shoes, everyear, that look like the roof of that littlehouse!!
ugh! not fun.
