Yesterday the rain began....and stayed....finally. It is supposed to last 3 days. I hope it lasts a week. We REALLY need it.
All the little ponds are practically dried up. We had a brief rainstorm last Thursday and it didn't make a dent.
So everyone here is happy about the rain. The birds are out in it and the flowers are holding little fat droplets. Inside, we are enjoying listening to it and being a bit land locked while
watching old movies, baking yummy things to eat, reading good books and playing with the pooches...even sneaking in a nap.
Bring on the RAIN!

Keep it! I have not been able to take any decent event shots for work in weeks. It followed us from Michigan to Ohio and then to Lexington

I have the opposite issue. It rained 26 out of the 30 days in June here. Glad you are getting some much needed rain.
Why don't we send you some of our rain from up here in New England? It rained almost every day in June
and now it's back.
