I couldn't cut it back and use it fast enough so I decided to dry some of the oregano. Here it is freshly hung and ready to dry.
Just a week or so later and I'm ready to strip it...
and now we have 2 jars of freshly dried Oregano.
Much better than the brownish dust you buy in the store!

I bet it does taste good. That stuff in the jars is nothing compared to doing it yourself. Best wishes, Tammy
I love hanging herbs, myself my particular favourite is mint. :)
You are an oregano saver ..... just this morning, I was looking at mine, and wondering what to do with all of it .... now I know :-)
Great idea, well done :-)
Have a happy Monday
Xx
I so agree-my herb pot has exploded too-the sage leaves are gigantic-lol have some drying now. I need to dry my oregano and basil too
I love condiments, and I will really like to be able to make my own because you are right, the ones from the stores are really not useful. Yours look really tasty and full of powerful aroma; they should make your food taste like heaven. Thank you for sharing.
