Our annual pumpkin carving contest!

Friday we held our annual Pumpkin carving contest! (It had been so hot, we waited until Friday so they wouldn't rot!)

The winner gets bragging rights and choice of dinner at a local restaurant.

Now, I know you are wondering what we did with all those pumpkin seeds..can't let them go to waste, right?

We roasted them of course!

They were delicious!!!

    I love them all but I have to go with The Headless Horseman! WOW!

    HOw do you roast the seeds, Val?? And do you take the shell off like sunflower seeds? Lori

    I think the most original idea is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide, so my vote is for that pumpkin! :)

    I have to go with the headless horseman. It looks like it took the most skill to make.
